Research Interests

While my professional training and background covers organisational and clinical psychology (gestalt therapy), my academic work centers on the interface of environmental and cross-cultural psychology. My research interests span a number of areas in psychological science, from psychological time to individual differences to sustainability. Recently I have been working on four research areas:

  • Environmental Attitudes: better understanding of their structure and environment-behaviour relationships.
  • Human Values: nature, structure and universality of human values, and their impact on environmental attitudes and behaviours.
  • Psychology of Time: time perspective orientation as it relates to sustainability.
  • Psychometrics: construction and validation of measures related with the above areas
